Deposit

This feature helps you to set deposit payments where your customers will have to pay a certain amount upfront when they experience services.

You can choose one of 2 deposit types: fixed amount of payment or percentage amount of payment.

1) Set Deposit for Products

1.1) Settings in the Backend

Go to: Products >> Add New Product

• Enable Deposit: Choose "YES" if you want active this feature, choose "NO" if you don't like to use this feature

• Show Full Payment: You can choose Show "Full Payment" option or NO

• Deposit Type: a percentage amount of payment and a Fixed Amount of Payment

2) Manage Booking with Deposit

2.1) Manage Booking

Go to: Tripgo >> Manage Bookings

If a customer pays a deposit as the first payment, the Deposit Status will show as "Partial Payment".

2.2) Manage Remaining Amount

The system supports 2 way to create Remaining Order

The way 1: The admin create remaining order manually

The way 2: The system create remaining order automatically.

a) The way 1: The admin creates remaining order manually

• Step 1: Go to Order Detail

• Step 2: Click "Create Remaining Invoice" button in order detail

• Step 3:

The system will create a new order for the customer's remaining balance.

The admin sends the order details to the customer, including a link for the customer to pay the remaining amount online

• Step 4: The customer pays the remaining balance using the link provided in the email

• Step 5: The admin will see the order status updated from "Pending Payment" to "Processing"

b) The way 2: The system creates remaining order automatically.

Go to WooCommerce >> Settings >> Booking Tours >> Deposit

Remaining amount:

• Send order detail to customer: Once the remaining order is created, the system will automatically send the order details to the customer's email including a link for the customer to pay the remaining amount online

• Enable: When enabled, the system will automatically generate the remaining invoice

• X day before pick-up date: The system will generate the remaining order X days before the scheduled pick-up date

• Check periodically every X seconds for creating a remaining invoice: The system will check at regular intervals (every X seconds) to determine whether it’s time to create the remaining invoice.
