# Manually Update

Use FTP client software (FileZilla, SmartFTP, CuteFTP, etc...) to upload the theme or the plugins to your server.

#### **Step 1: Download again the theme**

a, Re-download the theme package from <https://themeforest.net/downloads\\>
\
&#x20;b, Click on the link "All files & documentation"  like bellow the image:&#x20;

c, **Extract** the package ( .ZIP file ), you will see folders and files like

d, Open the file: **Changelog/readme.rtf** to know which plugins were updated.

#### **Step 2: Update the theme**

Unzip egovt.zip then, upload and override egovt folder to wp-content/themes/ folder in your server

#### **Step 3: Update the Plugins**

You will see the latest plugins in **Plugins** Folder, unzip **.ZIP file,** then upload and override to **wp-content/plugins/** folder in your server&#x20;
