# Translation

## **1: Use "**[**Loco Translate**](https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/)**" plugin to translate theme and plugins to your language**

### **a) Choose language to display**

Settings >> General >> Site language >> Choose your language

### b) Choose theme to translate

Go to Loco Translate >> Themes >> Choose Aovis

### c) Click New language

### d) Save translate file in system

### e) Find and translate text

### **f) 404 page**

After translate Slug of custom post type or else, you get 404 page => you have to save permalink again.

Go to Settings >> Permalink >> Permalink structure: Choose "Post Name" and save again.

### WPML with Header, Footer

1: Insert shortcode in Header, Footer elementor to display Switch Language: \[wpml\_language\_selector\_widget]‌

2: Translate Header, Footer to other language
